Before you contribute

To follow British Columbia's election financing rules, we're required to collect a few details and confirm a few things with every contribution.

We'll ask you for:

• Full name

• Residential address (a home address — not a PO box, work address, or business address)

• Contribution amount

By contributing, you're confirming:
☑ I am a resident of British Columbia and a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
☑ This contribution is made from my own funds — not on behalf of a business, union, association, or other organization.
☑ I understand this contribution is subject to the annual limit below.

A few things to know

• Contribution limit: Individuals may contribute up to $1,429.70 in total to this campaign for 2026. This is a cumulative annual limit — if you've already given earlier in the year, it counts toward this total.

• Organizations can't contribute. Only individuals — B.C. residents who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents — are eligible to donate to a local election campaign.

• No tax receipt. Contributions to local election candidates in B.C. are not eligible for income tax receipts. We'll send you a confirmation email for your own records, but it isn't a tax document.

• Contributions of $100 or more are made public. As required by Elections BC, your name and contribution amount will appear in their public Financial Reports and Political Contributions System. Contributions under $100 are not published individually.

• All contributions are recorded, as required by the Local Elections Campaign Financing Act, and go directly into Danny's official campaign account.
